Even though all three King Jason hotels have fantastic swimming facilities and hydro-massage pools, the nearby seawater obviously plays a central role in our guests’ experience. At King Jason Protaras, the sea is just a stone’s throw away; at King Jason Paphos, it is less than a 20-minute walk; and at King Jason Zante, it is less than a 15-minute walk.
Clean, clear waters invite guests to swim, float, and spend unhurried time by the shore. Both Cyprus and Zakynthos are known for the quality of their bathing waters, regularly recognized internationally for their cleanliness and clarity.
In Zakynthos, the Ionian Sea is calm and inviting throughout the summer months. Water temperatures usually rise from around 19–20°C in May to 24–26°C during July, August, and September, remaining comfortable through October. Beaches such as Porto Limnionas, Porto Roxa, and Gerakas are known for their clear waters and natural surroundings, offering ideal conditions for relaxed swimming and quiet moments by the sea.
In Protaras, the coastline is shaped by gentle bays and shallow waters. The sea here is especially clear, making it easy to enjoy long swims from early spring through late autumn. Water temperatures begin at around 17–18°C in March, reach 25–27°C in summer, and stay pleasant well into November. Nearby beaches such as Fig Tree Bay, Konnos Bay, and Green Bay are valued for their calm conditions and ease of access.
Paphos offers a slightly different rhythm, with a mix of rocky coves and open coastal stretches. One of the key advantages of this area is how long the sea remains swimmable. Water temperatures typically range from 16–17°C in winter, rising to 24–26°C in summer. Many guests enjoy swimming from early spring through late autumn, and some continue year-round. Beaches such as Alykes, Faros, and Coral Bay provide varied settings for sea swimming and coastal walks, and all are easily reachable by rental car or public transport from King Jason Paphos.
Across all three locations, whether it’s an early-morning swim, a quick dip in the afternoon, or a walk along the shoreline, clean waters and gentle weather conditions allow guests to stay close to nature and enjoy the simple pleasure of floating on water.
